How I Celebrated Saint Patrick's Day in Australia!

On the 17th of March, 2012, I felt very sad not to be in Ireland so I set about creating my own mini Ireland in my house in South Australia! I dressed as green as I could, including wearing my celery crown/mask/thing, blasted Irish pub tunes all day, got my Certificate of Tayto-ness from the Tayto website and made green muffins! I could tell they were cooked when they turned golden-green, which I found pretty hilarious! They're shown here sitting inside my celery crown/thing. Just before midnight I also made a serious attempt at Irish dancing for the entirety of a four-minute jig! This left me exhilarated but exhausted and I calmed myself with a muffin as the clock struck 12 and Saint Patrick's Day left my time zone!
