Resistance ImageryBased on the ideas in George Orwell's 1984 and Muse's song Resistance, here's my inspiration for a video for Resistance.

Dawn breaks slowly over hills. The sky is clear and a thin layer of mist curls in the grass. As figures clad in glowing silver armour rise up from the grass the mist dissipates [close-up of drum roll]. The moment the mist is gone the piano begins [close-up of fingers on piano] then the scene cuts suddenly to the people charging towards city gates, some on horseback. Their expressions are sombre. 6 Assorted Animal LimericksThere once was young tabby cat
Who from stealing dinners grew fat
Ignoring growl and hiss,
To have slimy meat bliss,
He leapt from their claws like an acrobat

There once was a Thoroughbred horse,
Who for events in his past felt remorse
To escape from his shame,
He did change his good name,
And forsake his life on the racecourse

I stood still in a frosty grey morn,
'Twixt riding and walking I was torn.
My horse, full of grit,
Thought me quite a twit,
But from his neck I was to my house borne.

While watching TV,
My cat did see,
A show full of colourful birds.
Though she'd given her word
Not to harm things that fly,

Live Rock Vibration FeelingsI'm running forwards and at my back there's a FULL THROATED BELLOW
of infinite beauty and truth!
It's singing meaning that's not crashing down on me but dipping easily inside of me and becoming my own with fiery sparks and a crystal clear glow.
It's first understood in my head, but it's travelling into my heart which then shouts the truth at my muscles,
Pushing it in deeper with each thud until they bunch and tremble with urges suppressed in the past, sensing freedom a mere jump-start away.
They leap forwards, pushing harder than they can against their oppressors, egged on by the bass rumbling through my chest, its vibrations spread

I took this a while ago, in early Winter. Walking home I saw all these tiny raindrops hangng from a shrub so I skirted round it, raced home, got the camera, came back and took photos. This was my photography teacher's favourite of the shoot and the only one I've edited so far.
